Most of you know that I was supposed to be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail this summer. It’s kind of crazy to me that on a summer where I was supposed to spend nearly 5 months living out of my backpack, that it’s taken me this long to bust it out for the first time. I think part of it was the fact that it reminded me of a dream I had to put on pause but I think the other part was just that I’ve opted to do all the other activities that I wouldn’t have been able to do while I was hiking all summer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Either way, I am excited to be back in backpacking mode and am super excited for the adventures to come like my Tahoe Rim Trail thru-hike attempt starting in just a few days. All the gear I am setting out on this adventure with was what I had planned to hike the PCT with and I am super excited to finally put it all to good use!

If you’ve been following me for a while then you know I am a big fan of stio . They make clothes that look good and perform even better- believe me, I’ve put some of my stio stuff through the wringer! I know many of you are big fans too which makes me super happy!

Even though this will be my first time backpacking this summer it definitely won’t be my last! So excited for all the places my own two feet can take me! Anyone else excited for some adventures? #lettheoutsidein #stiopartner
