I’m for sure going to be one of those people who needs a garage or a barn that’s bigger than their house to store all their gear/toys… Not surprising though if you got a chance to meet my dad before he passed away- he worked hard but he played harder and, as an ex-professional motocross racer, snowmobiling was one of his favorite winter activities.

The week after he passed away all of his friends took me out on a big adventure to one of his favorite spots and let me rip around the snowfields in his honor. That was more than 5 years ago now and up until this week that was the last time I got a chance to ride a snowmobile.

When polarisadventures invited me out on a snowmobile adventure I knew I had to say yes- first and foremost to celebrate my dad and one of his big loves but also for me, to have some fun and let myself be reminded of what it’s like to tap into that childlike playfulness that you get when you get out of your comfort zone and try something different.

polarisadventures linked me up with the rad humans over at icepiratesadventureco out of Silverton, CO and I got the chance to have two of the most fun days ever! We explored big open fields, local historic mining cabins, winding tree runs, and even got up over 13,000ft on the sleds to soak in one of the best views I’ve ever seen.

If you haven’t had a chance to ride a snowmobile yet or you are looking for something fun to add to your bucket list I can’t recommend polarisadventures more highly! They have adventures for all ages and skill levels and I can say, without a doubt, that it’s an adventure that you will be talking about for years to come!
