It's crazy to think that I started climbing almost 8 years ago now... Man does time fly! Honestly, climbing saved me. It came into my life right as I was quitting competitive snowboarding and I was feeling lost.. I was confused about who I was and who I would become. Climbing taught me to be strong and showed me that I could redefine myself... or even better- undefine myself. While I climbed I dropped so much into the moment that everything else faded away. Do you know the feeling? It's pure magic! When I found out backcountry was coming out with a climb collection I was over the moon! My favorite piece of the collection is the Double Dyno Climbing Pants which I now own in every color and have worn basically every day since I got them (climbing or not!). I also really like the new collaboration Black Diamond crag bag. It zips all the way open on the front so it's really easy to find things- unlike the backpacking backpack I've used as my gear bag for the last 8 years! Here's a couple of shots from my recent trip to Indian Creek. A lot of fun was had! #findyourbackcountry #backcountrypartner
