## Caption

From @swim_divefrhs “An EXCEPTIONAL year for many of the Irish came to an end at the 2018 Region Meet. Best swims were had by numerous swimmers including two more state cuts and Diver Jill Tinsey got 7th in the Region. Walker Campbell and Evan Dragan both got their first ever state cuts in 100 backstroke adding to the list going to Knoxville. The men did exceptionally well in their races in Regions with the 200 freestyle relay of John Clinard, Ryan Knapp, Evan Dragan, and Austin Wright getting 4th in the Region, and the 400 freestyle relay of Austin Wright, Walker Campbell, Ayers Callahan, and John Clinard got 6th in the Region. The Lady Irish also performed well with many new personal records set. In the end, the men finished with an impressive 8th place, women got 23rd, and the team overall won 13th out of 85 teams!! Our state qualifiers are Walker Campbell, John Clinard, Evan Dragan, Ryan Knapp, Austin Wright, along with alternates Ayers Callahan/Chas Woeppel, and diver Jill Tinsey will compete in the State Meet in Knoxville, Tn, on February 9th and 10th. Go Irish!!”
