On June 5th, the world celebrates #EnvironmentalDay, raising awareness of environmental issues affecting business and daily life. 🌍

At #Raute, we have two environmental #ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals: innovating advanced products and services for resource efficiency and driving climate action. These goals are divided into objectives where we aim to: 
🔵 Enhance positive ESG impacts through R&D 
🔵 Maximize the circularity impact 
🔵 Secure carbon neutrality for own operations 
🔵 Reduce emissions from procurement, logistics, travel and own products 
🔵 Advocate #EngineeredWoodProducts as a solution to reduce carbon footprint of the built environment.

We want to achieve carbon neutrality in our own operations by 2030 (Scope 1: direct greenhouse gas emissions and Scope 2: indirect greenhouse gas emissions). Our resource efficiency approach is entwined in our solutions as we aim to maximize the yield and grading of wood and by optimizing the use of chemicals and energy - enabling cost-effective and sustainable manufacturing of wood products. 🌲
