Too Much Sauce weathered a strong performance from Jarred Reid (23 points 6 rebounds) and Kash Lawrence (20 points 5 rebounds) to defeat Akatsuki 78-71 in Vancouver Elite.

The story of the game was on the glass. Too Much Sauce dominated the rebounding battle, grabbing a whopping 38 boards compared to Akatsuki’s 22. This dominance translated to extra opportunities, with Too Much Sauce scoring 14 at the line to Akatsuki’s 8.

Alejandro Jordan (15 PTS, 9 REB, 6 AST) nearly notched a triple-double for TMS plus five of their six players scored in double figures. They say teamwork makes the dream work.

This win propels Too Much Sauce to a 3-3 record, and moves them up to the 5th seed.
