Almost a year ago, ari_fararooy reached out to me on IG and asked if I would be interested in directing a festival recap for okeechobeefest. Instead of doing a standard one-minute slow mo shit show (sorry mom), I want to tell a story, focusing on the attendee’s experience in relation to the festival as a whole. matthewhalla and I worked through the visual themes in LA and shot the show in Florida in March, capturing the energy of the environment, human interaction, celebration, and of course, music! Fast forward 8 months and it’s out: Passage: The Official OMF 18 After Movie. At 4 min long it was a doozy of a project & I’m v stoked that it’s finally out there!
