Quick News & Notes Training Camp Day 11
▪️commanders signed WR Matt Cole, ST specialist.  Originally UDFA with Miami, then 49ers, Jets, Giants, Panthers, & Seahawks.  He’s had 34 career ST snaps in the NFL with 3 tackles. 
▪️John Bates back at practice today.
▪️Curtis Samuel & Dyami Brown both participated, good news
▪️Wentz & Dotson are finding a nice chemistry 
▪️Hodges & Cole Turner on the side today
Also Charles, William Jackson, Apke, Young, Lucas, & Rashod Hill
▪️Armani Rodgers made the most of his multiple reps today due to injuries and shined
▪️Howell has NFL arm talent
▪️Logan Thomas update per Rivera “so far. He’s doing pretty good” 🤷‍♂️
▪️Rivera has confidence in Joey Slye
▪️Jamin Davis said he feels 10x more comfortable in year 2…. Good to hear 
▪️Wentz and WRs chemistry in general is “a work in progress”
▪️Rivera on Samuel “ We’ll chill him out a little bit. He’ll work on the side (tomorrow) continue his conditioning, continue his rehab…. the goal of knowing he’s got to be ready for the opener”
▪️Cosmi feeling confident about year 2
▪️Newly signed CB Steven Parker was around the ball a lot today.  Trying to make a push for a roster spot
▪️Wentz not worried about training camp inaccuracy.  Much to do about nothing… we’ll see 🤞
