Flanagan no doubt deserves some credit for the resurgence in American distance running over the last 15 years. Her debut was a huge success and answered the question whether the Olympic silver medalist at 10,000m could carry her talents to the road marathoning scene. Since then, she has run a lifetime best of 2:21:14 and set the fastest time by an American at the Boston Marathon (2:22:02). Today’s question is could the now 36-year-old move up a place from last time to cap off what has been epic career!
