So often, your own parents don't mean to make you feel bad about your fertility journey. They're under the same societal pressures as you. Just as much as you feel it's time to become a parent, they feel it's time to become a grandparent. Now, they're grappling with a change to the way they thought their lives were going to play out, just like you are. ⁠

That doesn't make it ok — there is no one path or one timeline to parenthood, and any expectations (including your own) don't dictate your path. No one should make you feel otherwise. But it may help to see the situation through more compassionate eyes. You all want the same thing, and that can be a way to find comfort where you once felt pressure.⁠
