Bailey is our in-house cheesemonger here to tell you why you should grab some burrata from our cheese case this weekend! Scroll for recipes 🤗

You may know you love burrata but did you know:

• Our burrata is produced from Buffalo milk

• Created in the 1920s in northern Italy by farmers out of necessity - they didn’t want to waste their fresh mozzarella! 

• The creation process began with fresh mozz being torn into fine shreds during the stretching process to create : stracciatella ! 

• This stracciatella is combined with cream and encased in stretched mozzarella. Creating the perfectly delicious, soft burrata balls that we all know & love!
