In my new house, I plan to lacquer the bar in a beautiful blue hue. As I weed through various shades of blue, I can’t help but return to this paint color in a River Oaks project from a few years ago. It’s just so good— the perfect shade of watery, French blue. I think a million people have asked for the color over the years. For inquiring minds who’d like to know, we color-matched Benjamin Moore Water’s Edge in Fine Paints of Europe Hollandic Paint for a true lacquer finish. Lacquer and high gloss are two different things with a tremendously different result.
