Tired, sore, brain running non stop thinking of all the things needing to be done, but we’re almost ready 😌 

Going into this session I was really trying to approach it like a regular day, to not put too much stock in what happened because it doesn’t actually change our plan. But it’s so hard not to place a lot of emphasis and pressure on those final singles. It’s so hard not to feel like it’s those numbers that determine what you will hit in competition, and if it doesn’t go well then you’re fucked. Of course the numbers you hit during prep are important information but ultimately what you will lift on the platform is determined by so many factors and (probably) most crucially by how things are moving on competition day itself. So let’s not be so hard on ourselves aye, we’re doing our best 🥹

ANYWAY 
S: 170kgs/ 375 lbs🥳 
B: 107.5/ 237 lbs 
D: 205kgs / 451 lbs (downward movement 🥲) #
T: 482.5 kgs
Closing in on my best squat as a 57 (171 in comp), bench is an equal PB, 205 was not awesome but equal to the heaviest I’ve ever pulled in the gym, so not a bad day’s work I reckon 🤓
