It's the last day of National Volunteer Month! We're so grateful to our volunteers for their selfless dedication to our mission and wish kids.

Gigi is a multilingual wish granting volunteer and airport greeter. The most impactful part of volunteering for Make-A-Wish is getting to know the wish families. “I learn so much from the wish kids and their families about patience, strength, joy and hope.” 

Wishes transform lives – and our volunteers know that firsthand! “Everyone involved in the wish is transformed for the better- the child, their family, the wish granter, the Make-A-Wish staff, and any community members who are involved. To make a wish happen is such a beautiful accomplishment that requires so many helpers along the way!”
