October is #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth. There are so many reasons we partner with Join1Love to focus on #HealthyRelationships with all of the teens in our programs. Here are a few of them:

- 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime.

- Half of all survivors experience violence for the first time before they turn 25.

- 1 in 3 teens in the U.S. experience dating abuse.

By discussing these problems and talking about the keys to a healthy relationship, we can all play a role in preventing violence and supporting each other.
