Kirsty Gordon, senior in milling science and management is interning in Guyana, South America with Seaboard Overseas Trading Group in their Namilco flour mill. “It’s been incredible getting to see over 6,000 metric tons of wheat come in on a vessel. I’ve been able to get a lot of unique hands on experiences, see a different culture and another perspective to the milling industry, and compare and contrast how milling methods are done internationally.” Do you have a cool internship or program planned for the summer?
