## Caption

Here are some pictures of the new cross at the top of Hummer Hill that went up in May.  Hummer Hill is the highest point on camp.  You can see three states on a clear day as well as most of the camp, and all the way to Greenville, SC.  The view is spectacular, but made better by the cross.  One person said of the cross when they first saw it, "I've seen this view hundreds of times, but the cross changes everything!" The cross really does change everything.  It did when Jesus hung on it for our sins and it still does today as a symbol of that ultimate sacrifice.  That cross built a bridge for us in our sin to God in His perfection.  The cross does truly change everything! 
We are grateful to Chris Phillips, owner of Sun Surveillance Inc. for donating and installing the solar lighting system that lights up the cross for all to see.  He and his team made it their mission to light up the symbol of sacrifice that "the light of the world", Jesus, used to save mankind.
