Many of us with furry friends are used to asking the question: Can I bring my dog?

Some local bars and restaurants do indeed allow your pet to come along for a night out. 

Star reporter Jenna Thompson and her dog, a 1-year-old golden retriever named Winston (after the “New Girl” character, of course), ventured around Johnson County to find the best dog-friendly digs.

These spots all overwhelmingly received Winston’s stamp of approval. (That is, a wagging tail and a hearty paw shake.)
