"Besides the fact that my son is so damn handsome that it doesn’t make sense...like c’mon, this kid looks TF GOOD 🙌🏾😍...but seriously, this is hands down one of my favorite dad moments to share with him and it’s not about the exceptionally dope haircut that I just gave him.⁠⠀

It’s about the transformation that he goes through when he sits in that chair, then watching him smile in the mirror and fall in love with himself when we’re done.⁠⠀

It’s about exercising his trust in me and my patience with him.⁠⠀

It’s about the memories that he will hold on to of me doing this and him seeing me so excited about it as I hype him up every time. Hopefully he’ll pass this energy down.⁠⠀

It’s about him knowing that I’m his biggest fan and I’m not just here to help him look his best but also BE HIS BEST.⁠⠀

It’s about watching him develop and noticing how much he’s grown with each cut. It’s going too fast 😩.⁠⠀

There’s a lot wrap up in this 60 minute act of fatherly love and son grooming. So I take my time. I cherish each of these moments as we create it because the next time he sits here we’ll both be a little older and we’re not promised tomorrow.⁠⠀
