"On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration of Palma School, I want to thank our parents and students for a terrific and safe return to campus these past two days!  Among the estimated 170+ "Rice" students who shared their desire to attend in-person learning on campus (latest survey), we had 108 students on campus yesterday and 97 today.  We are excited for our “Edmund” students to join us next Monday and Tuesday! 

Our teachers are energized by student presence in their rooms and they are out-performing my expectations.  There appear to be many smiling Chieftains and staff behind properly fitted face coverings in our hallways and classrooms. While most clubs continue to meet by Zoom, the following HS sports are already well underway with practices and some competitions:  cross country, football, baseball, track and field, soccer, tennis, lacrosse.  Most recently, basketball, swimming, wrestling and soon volleyball are also underway.  Jr. HS sports have not yet commenced, as there are no schools with whom to compete.  Sadly, most schools serving grades 7-8 have not yet opened."
