Mr. Moncure's Conceptual Chemistry class experimented with diffraction grating so that the students could see that white light is actually made up of all the colors in the visual and non-visual spectrum. They learned about infra-red, microwaves and radio waves. Ultra-violet, x-rays and Gamma rays. The Quantum Theory of light. Think of that next time you see a pretty rainbow! 😉
