Qualities Errors = Hustle Errors
Bad Errors = Mental Errors

Hustle Errors:
Errors made out of pure effort of trying to make a play. All controllable factors were in check, you were prepared and ready for the ball and to make a play, you were positioned correctly before and during the play, and your communication with your teammates before and during each pitch/play was on point. Errors that you can live with as a player knowing you did everything in your power to make a play, but a physical aspect lead to an error (i.e. SS charging hard for a ball to try and make a quick throw to beat out a fast runner, but the ball hits the side of his glove off the short-hop and bounced away OR the centerfielder sprinting back on a ball in the gap and with full extension (not diving) reaches his arm out, the ball goes into his glove then pops out) .. these are errors you can live with bc it took effort to even be able to have a chance at making a play.

Mental Error:
Errors that occur due to the lack of having your controllable’s in-check. Usually errors that are followed with an excuse or reason.
