BTS of Adobe World Building 👾

You know that shot from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where he steps off of a cliff and the camera slow pans out to reveal he’s on a paper thin bridge? That visual inspired this animation!

So I started with the idea of me on a thin bridge that was the adobe timeline, and then from there I thought  it would be really fun to act like I was conducting an orchestra from the bridge. Live action editing in the air - cool!

So I proceeded to screen record myself editing in AE and PR, masking out all the different icons from the interfaces. This left me with like 100 different animated pieces to play with, from there I realized I could expand my world way past my original bridge concept

This gave me an opportunity to go nuts, so I built out 4 different environments that my 3D camera could endlessly loop through!!

Whipped out the green and just figured out really creative ways I could get from one scene to another - so it went from live action editing on a bridge to this amazing birds eye view flying through this fantastical editing process. OOF IM IN LOVE.

I love visual effects, the creative process itself will keep inspiring the edit. The limits are so endless you can really push yourself to be as unique as possible!!
