Photo dump from days 1-3 of my time in Palestine with the ipmn_pcusa Solidarity with the Suffering Delegation. 

📸 1 delegation group shot. For those of you who have traveled with large groups you know that it's a minor miracle that we got the group shot this early in the trip.

📸 2 I arrived in Amman for one day of settling in and this is simply a picture of the street at night.

📸 3 yes, I found a very cool coffee shop to work at for the afternoon. And yes that is one Turkish coffee and an iced coffee :-)

📸 4 this is the view from the top of the St John's bell tower in Amman. To be told getting up there was no easy feed but well worth it.

📸 5 feels a little disrespectful if I don't show at least one pictur of some mosaics from Amman. This is from the archaeological museum.

📸 6 graffiti that was painted over you can barely see that it says "concrete proof of apartheid"

📸 7 more painted over graffiti, this time trying cover "prayer"

📸 8 part of our tour with icahduk and viewing green zones that are zoned against any Palestinian building. 

📸 9 we had an honest and frank conversation with the Director of unrwa in the West Bank. Things are as bad as you have heard, the political gaming is maddening, and yet people are still showing up.

📸 10 We spent The afternoon with the activists from save_the_arq_jlm. Look up what is happening there and the prophets foolishness of standing up to power. 

Our next few days will take us deeper and into more interaction and exposure to what is happening. Keep in mind that I'm posting these after we leave each city just in case we get on anybody's radar.
