Group 1-winning half-sisters ALPHA CENTAURI (Mastercraftsman) and ALPINE STAR (Sea The Moon), part of the Niarchos Draft, led a historic edition of the #GoffsNovember Breeding Stock Sale when each sold for €6m apiece to MV Magnier on behalf of coolmorestud - equalling the record for the highest price paid for a Thoroughbred at public auction in Ireland.

The opening session of the sale, on Friday, marked the highest grossing day in the 157 years of Goffs at €39.5 million.
