It's only fitting that TDN's #BreedersCup40 Celebration comes to an end today with the magnificent ZENYATTA 👑

"She went past me, stopped, and turned her head completely around. She took her time, looked straight at me. There was no question she sensed me," recalled Winter Quarter Farm's Don Robinson, who foaled her.

Among her many accolades, Queen Z is a 2x breederscup winner, starting off with her 1 1/2 lengths victory in the 2008 GI Ladies' Classic and absolutely blowing us away with her victorious run in the 2009 GI Classic. She won by a length over Gio Ponti. 

You could say her record says it all as a Hall of Famer, Horse of the Year and 3x Champion with $7,304,580 earned in her nearly flawless 20-start career, with 13 of her 19 victories at the Grade I level. But it was truly her heart, tenacity, effervescent presence and overall grace that enraptured all who watched, followed and loved her.
