Saturday was quite the memorable day for trainer Cherie DeVaux as her trainee VAHVA, winner of the GIII Charles Town Oaks in August, showed her true grit and determination to win the GII Lexus Raven Run Stakes by a 1/2-length over Alva Starr! 

It was the first Keeneland stakes win for DeVaux, first career Grade II (for the trainer and filly), and the fifth graded stakes win for DeVaux this year - two of them now thanks to Vahva ✨
