TDN's #BreedersCup40 Celebration continues today with GROUPIE DOLL 😍 "I'd go out in the field and she'd even talk to me a little bit when she walked toward me. She knows I have a peppermint for her," said Buff Bradley, who trained and co-bred the daughter of Bowman's Band. 

Back-to-back winner of the GI breederscup Filly & Mare Sprint, she won the 2012 edition by 4 1/2 lengths and followed up the next year with a 1/2-length victory. Coinciding with her Breeders' Cup victories, she was crowned back-to-back Eclipse Awards as the Champion Female Sprinter.

Sold for $3.1 million to Mandy Pope's whisper_hill_001 at the 2013 keenelandsales November Breeding Stock Sale, she made a final - winning - start in 2014 before retiring with a record of 12-4-4 from 24 career starts with $2,648,850 in earnings. Groupie Doll now resides at gainesway!
