We're looking forward to another week in Texas on the PGATOUR for the ValeroTxOpen

13 Texas Golf Hall of Fame Members have claimed a Texas Open title through the years with various sponsor names tied to it.

Today, we're featuring Bill Rogers from the Class of 1982. In 1981, He capped a record-setting year with a playoff victory over Ben Crenshaw at the Texas Open. The reigning British Open champion roared from the middle of the field with a closing 63, which allowed him to tie Crenshaw, who shot a final-round 64. Rogers then birdied the first playoff hole for the win.

See the link in our bio for his complete Digital Museum Exhibit.
