🐾 Introducing the newest K9 to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office … Meet Yop!

Yop is a four-year-old Belgian Malinois who was born on 5/8/2020 in The Netherlands. Prior to becoming a police canine, Yop competed in the KNPV, which is Dutch for Royal Dutch Police Dog Association.

🚔Yop is now proudly serving as a patrol and detection K9 alongside Senior Deputy Bautista in the Lockwood area of northern Ventura County. Together, they are committed to keeping the community safe and secure. vcsok9unit
