Remember the nerdiest of church leadership days, on this my 26th #ordiversary as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA).

This calling is tough. Pastoring has almost killed me, I have seen the worst of who we can be, and it still frustrates the heckamadoodles out of me on the daily.

That said, there is beauty in the bull$hit, holiness in the humanity, and meaning in meandering.

As I enter the backside of life, not sure how much longer I'll be at this this, but as long as the calling is there, I will choose to answer.

I am under no delusions that I am where or who I am solely because of my own efforts or perseverance. Out of a deep gratitude for the great cloud of witnesses, saints, and ancestors — too many to name — that I can do what I love and become who I am becoming.

I give you some random pics, no seriously, rando.
