I once believed that Americans could reclaim this vague, yet galvanizing, idea of #TheCommonGood — and then we started having to offer #cash, #beer, #boba, #guns, and #donuts to convince people to get vaccinated against a deadly virus that has caused the death of millions.

We suck.

Okay, part of me still believes we can choose to be better and I am grateful for those who gladly  chose inconvenience over the endangering of others. Okay fine, we can be less sucky.

But guns, seriously WV?
