We made it through week 1 of post ACL + Patella Fracture Surgery!✨🦿🩼🤸🏽‍♀️

Here’s a little 20sec glimpse of what my first week post-op looked like! The first few days there was a lot of sleeping, eating, meds, laying down, and hobbling around the house. 🏠  Then I decided to start going on walks outside of my house, and each days walk was longer than the last!☀️my first step goal was to hit 500 steps and by the end of the week I can hit 3,000 steps. Still very small than what I’m used to but something is better than nothing in my book🦿exactly one week after surgery I went to physical therapy and now I’m starting on some exercises!💪🏽

I’m super excited to show you guys my progress week by week! Thank you to my family!❤️They help me every single day with the most simplest tasks and keep me company throughout this whole journey!✨ I also want to say thank you to my friends and everyone who’s been super supportive and helping me stay motivated to get better as soon as possible!🫶🏽🤩
