Ariana Lashkari, a 16-year-old girl, was shot dead by her father on Monday in the southwestern Fars province of Iran.

According to a relative she was killed because she wanted to live a life without restrictions. 

This is the FIFTH publicly reported femicide in the MENA region in the past two weeks.
