This summer, we're celebrating Tigers gaining real-world experience through internships. Today, we introduce two outstanding students making the most of their opportunities!

Lauryn
🔸 Career Prep: "My internship is helping me prepare for my future career because it’s giving me the experience I need and wanted to be able to grow into my future career. I’m thankful for all of the help, guidance, and encouragement I got from my professors and classmates at FHSU as I feel like I have a strong support system that was able to help me not only get an internship in the field I want to work in, but be able to have all the tools and skills necessary to thrive in my internship."
🔸 Advice: "One piece of advice I would give to students seeking an internship is to apply to several, even if it’s not in the area you were looking/wanting to live in. Life is all about breaking out of your comfort zone, so don’t be afraid to do that when taking on an internship!"

🔸 Career Prep: "Working for T-Lazy-7 Ranch is providing me with experiences that are going to teach me so much and stay with me throughout my career. I’m not only learning about the wedding industry but also how to form business relationships and provide better customer service!"
🔸 Advice: "If you’re thinking about doing an internship, go for it! And don’t be afraid to reach out to companies to see if they offer internships, that’s what I did!"
