## Caption

Yesterday, we held an event at the steps of the U.S. Capital to commemorate the life of Majd Kamalmaz. He’s an award winning American therapist that was killed in Syria. This is a spoken word piece written and performed by one of Majd’s granddaughters.

repjoewilson repfrenchhill and the jamesfoleyfoundation also spoke and demanded that the US government open a criminal investigation against the Syrian regime for the death of an American.
