Did you know wintering waterfowl aren’t the only animals we find in our fields? Our farms replicate California’s once-abundant floodplains. Today, dams and levees have separated the floodplains from the rivers, preventing the interaction of water and land that provides nutrients for the fish. But at Dos Rios—an organic farm found where the Feather River meets the Sacramento River—heavy winter rains cause the rivers to flood our fields with salmon! We’re happy to share our farm with them. In fact, we consider it a win-win of working in partnership with nature so we can keep growing together. Link in bio to learn more! 🌾🐟🌎 ⁠
