Colon, 49, spoke to Spanish radio broadcaster Johnny Trujillo about his future plans, prior to the Mets Old Timers Game. In what will surely be sad news to his fans around the world, Colon told Trujillo he's going to retire from professional baseball following one more winter league season

After a 21-year career you can say it has been nothing short of amazing. Spanning of those years, Colon has played for a whopping 11 clubs throughout his tenure in the MLB (Indians, Angels, Mets, Athletics, White Sox, Twins, Braves, Red Sox, Rangers, Expos, and Yankees). He finishes his career with a life to a 247-188 record, 4.12 ERA, 106 ERA+, a 1.31 WHIP, with 2535 SO through 3461.2 IP and a 46.2 fWAR (along with a CY Young in 2005, and 4-ASG appearances).
