nyuniversity placed FIFTH in the final ncaadiii learfield_ nacda Directors’ Cup - the Violets’ HIGHEST-EVER finish! 

Since the Cup’s inception in 1995-96, NYU’s previous top finish was 14th in 2006-07. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.

Fall (6th pl):
- nyuxctf (WXC): Runner-Up - 90 pts
- nyuwomensvolley: Final Four - 83 pts
- nyuwomenssoccer: Sweet 16 - 64 pts
- MXC: 16th pl - 58.5 pts

Winter (1st pl): 
- nyuwomenshoops: National Champions - 100 pts
- nyuswimming, nyudiving: 3rd (W) & 4th (M) - 165 pts
- nyuwrestling: 11th pl - 66 pts
