Today we would have begun to build the Borderland festival site. Believe it or not the signature archway is a real process to build. Some of the wood faded from year 1 to year 2 and we wanted to recycle so we didn’t replace it, that’s why it’s two-toned. We came up with the guitar idea 5 days before the festival in the first year and sketched it out on the back of a poster. The BEYOND letters are re-made each year with new graphics. Right now they are sitting in storage along with the stage banners! The archway is stored in a barn. We are daydreaming.... and we miss you. 🧡
