The Norwegian world star Casper Ruud is confirmed for the BNP Paribas Nordic Open taking place from October 12-20 at the Royal Tennis Hall. The highly popular world number seven has signed a two-year agreement with the tournament organizers. Tickets for this year’s tennis fest in Stockholm will be released on Monday, May 20.

25-year-old Ruud is the highest-ranked player in the Nordics and the notable Norwegian has recently proven to be one of the top favorites to win the French Open in Paris. Ruud reached the finals of the Masters tournament in Monte Carlo in April after defeating world number one Novak Djokovic in an entertaining semifinal. The following week, Ruud did not drop a single set on his way to the title in the tennis metropolis of Barcelona.
