My at home silk press 💆🏾‍♀️💇🏾‍♀️

I use to be a natural hair girlie that was terrified of heat but now baby I am not going back bc I low key be on the edge of craving the “creamy cr*ck” IYKYK lol 🤣

Here are some tips I learned for my at home silk press:

🤍 use a cleansing sulfate free shampoo (wash it real gooood) 

🤍 deep condition for 30+ minutes (this softens the hair replenishes the hair from the shampoo) 

🤍 WET YOUR HAIR when blow drying and always do it in sections (major key) 

🤍 flat iron in tiny sections slow and steady and bump them roots sis more than once 🤭

🤍 Lastly, USE A HEAT PROTECTANT!! 

I love my natural hair to pieces but I would be lying if I said it isn’t high maintenance bc chileeee this 19 second clip actually took me 3 hours 🙃

So if you’re trying to stay away from heat, but want to to try it DO IT just make sure you use a heat protectant!
