God cares for all.

“Consider the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they?” Matthew‬ ‭6:26‬

“And why do you worry about clothes? Observe how the wildflowers of the field grow: They don’t labor or spin thread.” Matthew‬ ‭6:28‬

What do you worry about? I know for me it’s school, friends, money, image, sleep, future job, and future life. Sometimes these worries get so large that they start controlling me. The decisions I make become focused on “solving” these fears yet once I reach whatever arbitrary goal, I set a new goal and worry again until I reach that. I take my worries and fears into my own hands and try to solve them but always fail to. 

I fail to remember and accept God’s absolute power. He feeds all the birds and fish and sometimes the fish to the birds. The grass worries not of what it wears. It doesn’t work hard for empty goals. He cares for all His creation, surely He can care for you and I too.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33-34‬

All my worries are fleeting. Earthly. Dust. Pivot into worrying about the things that matter, your faith, salvation, and righteousness. Set goals to grow closer to God, not grow your bank account. He has each day in His plan and will care for you throughout it all. Live in the moment. Be patient. Do not worry. Give it to God. All easier said than done huh.
