Congratulations to Alicia’s fellow alum, Sarah Huck, owner of Kos Kaffe, whose inventive beef tagine recipe appears with Alicia’s Perfect Vanilla Cake in the new Beard Foundation cookbook.

We believe in women supporting women. This month, we are showcasing each talented women chef with a recipe included in the new James Beard Foundation cookbook, A Place at the Table, which features signature recipes from 20 honored alums of the Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program.

Alicia and Sarah were honored to be invited to participate in The Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, a visionary collaboration between The James Beard Foundation and Audi, founded to recognize, uplift, and celebrate the innumerable contributions of women in the culinary field.

Showcasing each fabulous woman chef in this cookbook is our way of paying it forward and supporting the visionary women working to make the restaurant industry more equitable, vibrant, and diverse.
