🚨Coaching Announcement!! USIL is excited to welcome Thomas Howe as the 2024 USA Indoor Lacrosse Men’s U21 Head Coach.

Tom Howe comes from a lacrosse family, his father Ted Howe was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.  Born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario Tom played Jr. A lacrosse for the St. Catharines Athletics where he was a two time All Star.  He then went on to play Senior lacrosse for the Fergus Thistles where he was a 5 time Presidents Cup (Canadian National) Champion. 
 
Howe’s passion for the game continued into his post playing years as he started to Coach the game he grew up with and loved.  He was an Assistant Coach with the Boston Blazers (2007-09); he was the Offensive Coordinator for the Rhode Island Kingfish (NALL) in 20212, Head Coach for the Chicago Wolves lacrosse team in 2013.  He also was the Offensive Coordinator for the Team Ireland National Box Lacrosse Team from 2010-2019.  He started coaching youth level Box lacrosse with the Minnesota Stars program from 2015-2018.  He is currently coaching the Knights (Cape Cpod) Box lacrosse team which he started with in 2020.
 
He started playing Field lacrosse in his teens, and played college lacrosse for Brock University in St. Catharines where he was a 2 time national champion.  He went on to play for the Hamilton Men’s lacrosse club, where they went to the Canadian National championships twice.  He started coaching in the Wachusett Youth program in 2006, NESLL Club lacrosse in 2010, St. Johns High School from 2011-2015, Stillwater High School (MN) from 2016 to 2019.  He is currently back coaching with St. Johns Shrewsbury High School team.
