#CARTAStudentSpotlight– meet Graduate student, Veronica Bauza
veronicabauza_

She is graduating this Spring 2024 with a Master’s in Global Strategic Communications (GSC) – Creative Track, specializing in copywriting. fiugsccreative

Veronica is working alongside the Lilian Lodge Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication and has achieved a certification in the Leadership Boot Camp for the center. It has been a unique opportunity for her to not only make valuable connections, but support a mission of empowering women in communications.

She has played a vital role with curating videos, graphic materials, and programs for networking events. While supporting and attending the Kopenhaver Center’s 10th anniversary in empowering females in communications, Veronica has developed instructional video content when creating online professional development workshops for the center as a Digital Media Intern. Utilizing emerging media to develop Information Exploration, an innovative instructional opportunity to learn from experts and leaders from the Kopenhaver Center’s recorded archive of virtual programs, the project serves as an educational hub for professional development content with instructional resources within their discipline to achieve “student-centered” learning that will frame professional goals.
