Yesterday, Lee Caplin and Dean Brian Schriner visited the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts FIU D.C. offices to introduce the newly-named Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media. 
 
Our team met with fiujournalism alumni thought-leaders of immersive and emerging technologies like “Into the Metaverse” author Cathy Hackl, NPR Producer Alejandra Marquez, and ABC News Desk Assistant Sophia Lama. They also caught up with our global media organization partners— Univision DC and NBCU DC, and even members of Congress, to speak with them about our dedication to providing our students with media, tech tools, and education to shape their future as journalists and media professionals. #PAWSUP
