Rock and Roll is here to stay. My your memory live forever. I miss you more and more as I want this nightmare to be over. Your life was too short. I wanted more time. I needed more time. There were so many more memories I wanted to make with you. I wanted to go take you on a trip and see your reaction sitting window seat on the airplane, I wanted to get you a red pick up truck like the one you used to have, I wanted to buy a house and host family Christmas with me you and Jordan, I wanted you to walk me down the aisle someday. 

But may I we not dwell on the what could have been and cherish what we had. I sure do miss our phone calls where we would say bye to each other 10 times before actually hanging up, surprising you with gifts in the mail as though you never got a package to your house lol, having you gift us a toothbrush and toothpaste for Christmas every year and we would get mad but as we got older that gift became everything, and let’s not forget you wrapping the gifts in the same box year after year. 

Although you are not here I find peace when I feel you in the morning when I see the train go by my apartment, when it’s storming I hear you breaking down the weather for me, I close my eyes and I see you in awe of things that I get to work on, and I hear you telling me to enjoy the small things in life and keep smiling no matter what.

I miss your energy as you truly lit up every room you walked into. You had that “it factor.” Life isn’t easy sometimes but like coach karalawson said it will never get easier but what happens is you become someone who handles hard stuff better. 

Even through the hardest times you reminded me to always be kind, work hard, and be the bigger person. So I thank you for the time we had and I promise to continue to live out your legacy.
