Besides that, these two upcoming releases have little else in common. 

The Secret Life of Insects due for release at the end of March is a horror collection by Bernardo Esquinca, trans. James D. Jenkins that deals with darkness and desire and quiet terror that reads with the same succinct, precise act of flesh peeling from bone.

A Scarab Where the Heart Should be is the second novel from Marieke Bigg, author of the phenomenal Waiting For Ted, about Jackie McKenzie — known as 'The Beetle' — an architect and practical to a severe fault. To her mind, everything she does is logical, having being calculated and measured and meticulously planned. To everyone else, she is insane.
