Swanna In Love is about fourteen year old Swanna Swain, whose deeply pretentious (stoned) mother is keeping her from going home to New York after summer camp, in favour of living in an artists colony in Vermont with her new Russian (he's from New Jersey) lover. Forced to sleep in the bed of a truck with her little brother, Swanna meets Dennis — a married father of two— who quickly becomes obsessed with her, a fact she plans to take full advantage of.

Absorbed is a darkly comic story about female desire, modernity and body horror. Allison is a deeply unremarkable young woman with a dull job and a boyfriend she's been with since university; yet she remains terrified he'll leave her at any moment. Until she absorbs him. Fully absorbs him into her body. He's gone now. He's not coming back.
